Ik ben er ook aan begonnen: een Clapotis!
Eigenlijk wou ik graag Rusted Root maken. Liefst met katoen uit een van de plaatselijke wolwinkels -- maar dat bleek niet zo'n simpele zoektocht te zijn. De kleuren bevielen me niet altijd goed (lichte kleuren staan me niet goed voor bovenkleding) en de garens waren allemaal net iets te dun of te dik... Deze Katia Espiga (een zacht en strak mengsel van katoen en acryl-microvezel) kwam nog het meeste in de buurt, maar bleek na vele proeflapjes toch iets te dun voor Rusted Root.
Dus ik ben maar aan een Clapotis begonnen!
I started one too: a Clapotis!
Actually, I wanted to knit Rusted Root. Preferably with a cotton blend from one of our LYS, but that didn't prove very simple. All the cotton yarns I saw were either too thin or too thick, and they often came in colors that I didn't entirely like (many light colors for the Summer, of course, but I prefer darker colors for t-shirts and sweaters and the like). So I ended up buying this Katia Espiga (a nice and soft cotton-acrylic microfiber mix), but it turned out too thin in the end...
Therefore, I started this Clapotis!
